Knot Too Fancy
Macramé
Macramé is a form of textile produced using knotting (rather than weaving or knitting) techniques.
The primary knots of macramé are the square (or reef knot) and forms of "hitching": various combinations of half hitches. It was long crafted by sailors, especially in elaborate or ornamental knotting forms, to cover anything from knife handles to bottles to parts of ships.

A Little about me:
Becoming a mother at a young age, most of my time and attention was focused on raising my children. Now that I am an empty nester and married to my amazing husband Aaron who is a retired Marine, I am blessed to have the time and freedom to pursue my interests and passions. Macrame is just one of my many passions. I also love people (especially my family) photography, traveling, hiking, mural hunting, and adventerous experiences! I grew up in DFW and currently live in Sanger, TX. Thank you for your interest in following my journey into Macrame! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it!
